I wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year today! I had a great evening with MANY friends and am greatly appreciative of them and all of you who read my blog everyday. I wish you all a "Devine 2009" in whatever you would like to fulfill this year.
I had to try out my new raspberry fizz collection by Papertrey Ink. I think this is my favoriate color. So, I didn't use the specific colors for the K. Werner Color Challenge, but I think they're close enough. Go take a look at all those entries! Have a great holiday!
To make this card:
- Trim cardstock to 11" x 4.25", then score at 5.5"
- Tie ribbon in a bow around card base.
- Punch scallop circles out of pattern paper.
- Punch small circles out of olive cardstock.
- Paper pierce the circles and scallop circles and add brads.
- Adhere scallop circles to card base, on top of ribbon.
- Stamp sentiment.
Stamps: PTI-mixed messages
Ink: Papertrey Ink-raspberry fizz
Cardstock: Papertrey Ink-ripe avocado; raspberry fizz mix (pattern paper)
Accessories: Making Memories-brooke brads; 3/4" circle punch; scallop circle punch; Papertrey Ink-raspberry fizz satin polka dot ribbon
Card Size: 4.25 x 5.5
