Bride & Groom

This week's K. Werner Color Challenge was just that...a challenge! I'm not a black/white kinda girl, so I had to keep it simple and DIG for gray. I did find some grosgrain ribbon and felt so I used both!

I don't know if you've noticed, but my recent cards have not used stitching and that's because I've broken another sewing machine! Somehow, I keep jamming the bobbin components. I'm going to take it to a repair shop soon before investing in another one. So, my friend Tessa always uses faux stitching that looks so real and I'd thought to try it now. I paper pierced holes using the Scor-Bug, then used a white Signo pen to create the 'stitch.' Easy Peasy!! But, does it look like stitching? Be honest!

Card Instructions
  1. Trim pattern paper to 3.75" x 5".
  2. Paper pierce holes and faux stitch.
  3. Tie a gray and black ribbon around pattern paper.
  4. Stamp frame and sentiment, cut out and adhere to pattern paper with foam adhesive.
  5. Punch butterflies and adhere rhinestones, then adhere to pattern paper.
  6. Adhere pattern paper to a pre-scored A2 white card.
