Here is a quick card I made using one of Verve Visual's sets, Delightful and Delicious. I also tried out my new American Crafts embossing powder in the lilac color. Amazingly, it matches PTI's lavender moon!

Card Instructions
- Trim dark chocolate cardstock to an A2 card.
- Stamp images and cut out.
- Adhere on card front.
- Add rhinestones.
- Stamp polka dots, emboss, then add ribbons.
- Corner round one corner.
Cardstock: Papertrey Ink - polka dot basics 2; Verve Visual - delightful and delicious
Ink: Versamark; ColorBox - chestnut
Accessories: Craft Supply - heat gun + decorative scissors; American Crafts - embossing powder; Papertrey Ink - lavender moon + dark chocolate ribbon; KaiserCraft - rhinestones; We R Memory Keepers - corner chomper
Card Size: 4.25" x 5.5"

I just started card making a few months ago (I'm a scrapbooker, but now I'm making cards more then layouts). ReplyDeleteI love me some Verve too - - and agree with everything you said...the shipping...the packaging...the free unexpected gift - - all of it.
I don't get ANY papercrafting magazines! I get bunches of cooking ones that I don't read...and a Glamour mag that I haven't touched in months. I'm too busy making cards to read a magazine. BUT - - I think if I had a card magazine I would make the time...maybe sit down with it while I'm having mojo block or something.
Oh - - I don't do sketches either: they stymie creativity!

hi Ashley...I know I'm too late for the giveaway but just wanted to say hi...I was the Embellish well wisher to you on the Verve forum Friday night. I saw a link to your video on the Verve posts and just watched it. I am a big Verve fan too (since February) and can't believe how fast their shipping is (and I live in Canada!). And I also think the personal touch that Julee puts in each package (including a little thank-you stamp) is so sweet and thoughtful. They are a great company :) Anyways, can't wait to see what you do with the stamps. The coffee one is one of my favourites as well as their Kindred Spirits set :) Enjoy!
