Tomorrow, is New Year's Eve and we have a special evening planned with friends! We wanted to take it easy this year, but were invited to bring in the new year at a nice venue, so we agreed. It will be nice to dress up and go out. I'll just wear something already in the closet because it's not worth a few stamps to buy a new outfit! I know you all understand where I am coming from out there! I hope you all get to celebrate the new year in a special way as well, whether it be going to church (as I used to do for years), spending with family, or attending an event/party. Since our going to church days, we have started sayings for each new year. So, this year's saying is: Everything is Devine in 2009! Hopefully, I'll be back tomorrow with a card to share, but if I do not, have a devine 2009!
This frame came out better than I envisioned. The polka dots look better in person than my poor photograph. I used to dislike those stickers, but they come in handy for alterable projects, especially if you do not have a lot of Disney products in your collection. So, always remember you can make your own custom frame and not spend an arm and a leg on the official Disney ones!
To make this frame:
- Paint wood frame with acrylic paint and let dry.
- Stamp polka dot background on the top half portion and apply embossing powder and heat.
- Add Mickey Mouse stickers.
- Tie ribbons around frame and adhere.
- Add hat pin.
