It's sad to see the holiday season come to an end, but it's also good to get back to the usual schedule and move forward. I didn't complete my organization plan, so that will be postponed until later this week when I can pick up the supplies. I started with Loonie's Stamper Challenge. This week's challenge were to use PTI-Spring Rain, Pure Poppy, Spring Moss, and Sweet Blush. Instead of pulling cardstocks in all of the colors, I thought about some felt flowers and buttons.
For this year, I thought I would kick up my photography game and try to be a little more creative with my card photos. This time, I used a project that I am working on and almost finished. I hope to share it with you later this week. I'm really excited about it for some reason! It will be a gift for someone (or two)!
To make this card:
- Trim cardstock to 11" x 4.25", then score at 5.5"
- Stamp polka dot background on bottom portion of cardstock.
- Tie ribbon around card base.
- Sew buttons on flowers, adhering them together, then adhere them to the card base.
- Ink {white} tag blue (TIP: you can always alter something white).
- Stamp sentiment on tag and tie around ribbon.
- Adhere tag to the card to stay in place, then add pink rhinestone to the 'hole'.
Stamps: PTI-mixed messages; polka dot basics
Ink: Papertrey Ink-pure poppy; spring rain; berry sorbet
Cardstock: Papertrey Ink-spring moss
Accessories: Making Memories-flowers; American Crafts-flowers; Stampin' Up!-flowers; buttons; Bazzill-floss; Papertrey Ink-pure poppy top notch twill ribbon; tag; pink rhinestone; dimensionals
Card Size: 4.25 x 5.5
