Friends to the End

It's sad to see the holiday season come to an end, but it's also good to get back to the usual schedule and move forward. I didn't complete my organization plan, so that will be postponed until later this week when I can pick up the supplies. I started with Loonie's Stamper Challenge. This week's challenge were to use PTI-Spring Rain, Pure Poppy, Spring Moss, and Sweet Blush. Instead of pulling cardstocks in all of the colors, I thought about some felt flowers and buttons.

For this year, I thought I would kick up my photography game and try to be a little more creative with my card photos. This time, I used a project that I am working on and almost finished. I hope to share it with you later this week. I'm really excited about it for some reason! It will be a gift for someone (or two)!

To make this card:
  1. Trim cardstock to 11" x 4.25", then score at 5.5"
  2. Stamp polka dot background on bottom portion of cardstock.
  3. Tie ribbon around card base.
  4. Sew buttons on flowers, adhering them together, then adhere them to the card base.
  5. Ink {white} tag blue (TIP: you can always alter something white).
  6. Stamp sentiment on tag and tie around ribbon.
  7. Adhere tag to the card to stay in place, then add pink rhinestone to the 'hole'.
