Only rub-ons were used to make this card! I added rhinestones and a dimensional of one rub-on. It looks like one of those pre-printed cards you can purchase in a pack. To make this card, simply rub on flowers on your card base into a pattern. Add sentiment and rhinestones. It's a really simple card. The layout of the rub ons is the most challenging part. I like rub ons, but prefer stamps because once you use rub ons they're gone! You can use stamps over and over again, making them more cost-effective and versatile too! But, every now and then, a good 'rub-on' is always welcome!
You can also make your own rub-on using your word processor and printer. The brand I have is Grafix "Rub-onz" that includes 4- 8.5 x 11" sheets. It shows three easy steps:
- Print/Design (even stamp on the paper)
- Apply Adhesive
- Transfer to Surface (rub on)
Another TIP: When using rub-ons, you can cut them to apply them to an edge, then use the other portion for another edge!
I'll be back tomorrow to share another {love} card! Enjoy your Tuesday!

You always have such great ideas. This is a really cute card. Makes me think of spring!
You are too right about stamps vs rub-ons...! Neat tip on making your own. :)
This card is so beautiful! My eyes were drawn to it right away. Now I'm trying to think of ways of "card-lifting" it with stamps. Haha! And thank you for the great info on making our own rub-ons!
this card is great!
I agree about rub-ons. Now they are all used up!
Oh I just love this. I do love rub ons but you are right....not super cost effective. In fact I walked away from some great ones I saw at Michaels tonight. What was I thinking? Haha.
Great card! I've heard about making my own rub ons, but I've never bought that product. Sounds great though! I don't know why I buy rub ons if I don't use them often enough. Do you have a Big Lots in your area? Last week they had a lot of American Crafts rub ons, chipboard, and ribbon for $2 each pack. I found out about from Mary in Columbus, OH.
