Wonderful Wednesday to you! Today's 'bold and new' card is inspired by SCS Color Challenge CC210. Hop on over there and check out all of the cards! At first I was intimidated by the color choices, but I was determined I was going to make a card with this unusual color combination (at least for me). I was limited because although I have many inks, I do not have a lot of SU! inks. So, I used Lisa Johnson's Remember set and stamped poppies and coordinating leaves in black and pulled color out in the cardstocks and ribbon. I have SU! Summer Sun cardstock, but discovered PTI Summer Sunrise is VERY CLOSE. The ribbon was an almost perfect match and since I had plenty of that I opted to add ribbon instead of more cardstock.
I was invited to participate in Genesis Girl's Night Out event held at the National Harbor. So, for all my blogging friends in the DC area, please come out to see me and get pampered! I will be there as an exhibitor selling cards (of course) and trying to get others into the craft! See the flyer for details. Don't forget to RSVP!
Anyway, thanks for stopping by the blog and have a good one!
