OH BABY

Hey everyone! Last night, I finally got back into somewhat of a groove and made two cards. I can only share this baby card I made, which is inspired by K. Werner's Color Challenge. I thought the colors were fitting for a baby boy card. I created patterned paper by stamping lines at a diagonal. I did not have letter stickers that fit the color challenge, so I stamped some and cut them out. The task of cutting stamped letters is a bit daunting, but is so worth it in the end!

I watched the Bachelorette last night to see if I would be interested in the season. I've decided that I am not. I realized that I am not a big fan of dating 30 men at once. I do not think it is healthy or real to be frank. I understand it is a show, but the purpose is supposed to be real. After last season's Bachelor, this has confirmed my position on these dating shows, which is why VH-1 has created spoofs of it, such as Flavor of Love, Rock of Love, and I Love New York. It's a JOKE! So, what do you think?!

As always, I appreciate your visit to my blog and wish you have a terrific Tuesday!

Card Instructions
  1. Make an A2 card with baja breeze cardstock.
  2. Trim white cardstock into a rectangle, stamp lines at a diagonal and adhere to card front.
  3. Tie ribbon around card base into a bow.
  4. Stamp "OH BABY," cut out, and adhere to card front with foam adhesive.
  5. Die cut star and adhere.
  6. Stitch buttons.

This is great! The task of cutting is daunting to me!! I agree with you about those dating shows, I watched a few of the first few seasons but then got bored with them. It's not real at all.

Have a great day!

FUN card for a new baby boy. Ashley. It came out great. I have and love that alpha set too - use it all the time in my scrapbooks.

...And I love the starry background paper in the pic too LOL!

Cute card Ash.

Funny....I have never watched that show but watched it last night and decided I AM going to watch it this season. She's a Canadian girl so I gotta see the outcome. LOL. I don't watch too much tv (as I never seem to get off this dang computer) but decided I will try this one.
