P.S. I love you
Hey there! It's Thursday...Friday Eve people! YAAAY I can't wait to break out my "Friday Hey Dance!" Have you ever received 'junk' at a store and thought, "What am I going to do with this?" Well, that happened to me earlier. I stopped by Bath and Body Works to pick up some hand soap and I received the "P.S. I love you" pin for free with my purchase. I rolled my eyes (not really, but to myself thinking why do companies waste?)! So, once I got home and saw the pin, I thought perfect for a love card! So, here is where it ended and guess what? It's not waste! Do you want one? If so, you have to buy something at Bath and Body Works! :)
Honestly, it took me forever to come up with a concept for this pin. This is my third card and still I am unsure if it's an IT card! Regardless, it will have to do.
One more thing! Did you know Gina K Designs sells luxury heavy-weight cardstock? It's GREAT! I used the pure white here and it has a smooth finish similar to Stampin' Up!, but a much heavier weight than Papertrey Ink. It's just that great! The other colors have a regular finish. Just thought I share that crafty supply knowledge with you all in case you were interested! If you have any questions about her stamps or cardstock, ask away because I've been using them up!
Thanks for taking a peek over here and have a great day!

This is so fun! And cardstock heavier than PTI? Didn't know there was such a thing! Lol... Thanks for sharing that!
What a sweet card! Love the button! :)

Great idea, Ashley. I agree -- sometimes I think, why would they thing that (item) would entice me to make a purchase?! Well, you really made this one work!

i love your card...i cant believe you still dont think its your IT card. Its it!!! Love that recycled the "PS I love you" pin. so cute and great use of the wood grain stamp. love how you can use it using colors other than white and brown. Thanks for the idea! TC!!
gasp...its totally brilliant!!
I NEED that woodgrain stamp
This is fantastic... Love the combination of patterns!
This is definitely one of my favorite cards made by you!!!!! It's perfect in every way!
Hello Ashley - I like all your cards, but I LOVE this one!
Trash into treasure -- love it!
Very pretty card! Love your use of the button, so cleaver! I also love, love, love the wood grain in pink on the kraft! Fabulous job!
What a fabulous card! Love what you did with the button, so clever! Love, love, love the wood grain in pink on kraft!
Really? Heavier than PTI... I must try!
I love this card. One of my favorites!
What a great way to recycle. Thanks for the tip on the white. I had previously ordered 120lb Neenah Solar White, which works well but is more porous than the SU! Whisper white, which stamps well. i will have to give that one a go!
Perfect! I love it!
First thing that came to my mind was that movie.......P.S I Love You!!!
Thanks for the paper tip - I was going to buy some PTI white cs when I used up my SU stash, but maybe now I will try GinaK!
Glad you were able to re-purpose the 'junk'!
Aww, I love it!
This is too too cute, girlie! Love everything about it!!!!
I'm not in a chatty mood but I got to tell you how cute this card is :P
this card is tooo cute. I love it and I just saw the movie P.S. I love You for the first time last weekend. It's a really good movie.
I do love the pin! I saw it and immediately thought it was going to be a sentiment stamp set that I was going to have to buy.
This is fabulous!!! It's like the American Craft flair pins, only better since it was free! Maybe I better head over there this weekend! Thanks for the GinaK cardstock tip too, I love white single layer cards, so that sounds perfect!
oh, it's totally "it" - I just got a wood grain stamp and I love the unconventional colors! it's a beauty, ashley!
Fun card! Love the pink woodgrain!
love recycling!
