Watch Me Wednesday :: May Peace Be Yours + Blog Giveaway

Hey Everyone! I hope your week is going well so far! It should be because it is already Wednesday and here that means time for a new video! So, I created this holiday card to share with you. It's full of read and cream and a pop of turquoise for some fun!

Check out that felt and cardstock embellishment I created with Spellbinders' die templates. You can create an endless amount of elements using dies, including basic shapes, tags, borders, shaped cards, embellishments, and even mini albums. The world is yours with die templates and that's why I enjoy using them so much.

I created a custom focal point using dies to make a decorative envelope-type element.

As I mentioned yesterday, I just reached the 300,000 hit mark on my blog and I'm continuing to celebrate my gratitude for my blog readers and browsers, so I have arranged another giveaway for the week. The blog giveaway prize contents are shared in the video. Please make sure you review the rules below. You must comment on this blog post to enter to win (not YouTube, Facebook or Twitter).

*Please note: I will ship prize to contest winners around the first week of December, if not sooner. This allows me to make one trip to the Post Office, instead of multiple trips.

I hope you enjoy the video. Click here to watch it on YouTube.

I love making cards that can be for anything, thank you, birthday, sympathy, whatever. I usually make the cards and put them aside and when I need a card it can rise to the occasion so to speak. I add the appropriate sentiment or specific embellishment at that time. For some reason I always need cards at the last minute and I don't have time to make an entire card.
Thank you for sharing your cards and projects, they are an inspiration. Rebecca

This year I got into Christmas mood way earlier than normal and I already created many cards and home decor items. Every year I seem to have a favorite color scheme. This year it's chocolate, craft, cream and gold. Last year was turquoise, white and silver.

What a great card and a wonderful video. I think I'll be making this one. My favorite theme is Holiday. Whether it is Fall, Christmas, Easter or Valentines. Those cards always go to people I love and that makes them very special.

What a lovely card... the felt snowflake is fabulous. :o) I like to make Thanks You and Birthday cards... I am really bad at sending them out though... Thanks for the wonderful giveaway. :o)

Tough question for me. I love to create so many different types of cards! I guess I like to make kind of generic cards the best, leaving the inside blank to come back and put a sentiment in later.
Thanks for this fabulous and generous give away. I will be keeping my fingers crossed!

I would want that gorgeous box not only for it's beauty but of course, for those contents!!! Very nice. I think birthdays are the most fun to celebrate because they usually focus on one person at a time. And they should include cake and ice cream!

I can't say I have an absolute favorite...I make a lot of baby cards b/c I sell them in a friend's store. I love to make birthday but am totally into the Christmas thing this year. I bet I already have about 30 cards done! Thanks for the chance to win!! I love your turquoise snowflake - it's just the right pop of color on this beautiful card!

My favorite theme is probably cards to say hello- I adore making girly cards because I have four sons, and scrapbooking is all about the boy stuff.
