Kiddie Birthday

YES YES YES - It's FRIDAY! WOOO HOO!! I think I live for the weekends! I have lots of crafting to do this weekend, including starting a scrapbook for my friend's party Mac photographed. I'm not going to commit myself to finishing it because that's just too much! I will however start and hopefully get halfway finished! If I finish it, GREAT!

I received my goodies from the Gallery Idol contest and lots of American Crafts stuff. So, I wanted to see if I liked it. The best I could come up with for this bright colors was a kiddie card. What do you think? It seems kind of busy for me, but it's a kiddie card so... busy it is!

Have any plans this weekend? Please share!

Thanks for popping in today and have a fabulous weekend. Make sure to do something fun! :)

Love the polka dot basics 2 down the left side. I think it all came together very well. My weekend involved cleaning out my office at the preschool. I've been director for over 10 years and just moved my stuff in on top of the old director's stuff and, oh, what a real mess it's gotten to be. It's a daunting task, but MUST be done! Have fun working on the scrapbook!

I don't think it's busy at all, I like it! And it wouldn't necessarily be a kiddie card either. Some adults like bright, sunny colors, too! :-)

Weekend...ahhhhh. It won't be relaxing though. In-laws come into town today. Back-to-school shopping over the weekend (kids start Tuesday here), and just being a hostess to the in-laws. I HAVE to get a birthday card done this weekend, and a friend wanted me to make him a wedding card to give away, so I'm going to try to get that done, too. And I have an anniversary card to make. So all-in-all, busy! :-) You have fun with all your new schtuff!

It's so cute!!! I have some of this paper too (Well, I think I'm giving it away in the blog candy...shucks! Lol!) But This is so fun & well balanced! The paper is busy, but your simple layout counters it well. I LOVE those colors... I'm not quite ready to rid myself of the summer season yet.

That patterned paper is cute! I don't think you have to limit this to just a recipient who is a kid... I'm sure there are some kids at heart would would enjoy a cheerful card like this, too. : )

This weekend will be chock-a-block full of finishing projects around the house... as long as the rain holds off.

Oh I love this card - - and I think it's great for a kid or an adult - - it's really fun! American Crafts stuff I don't get too often but I see it out there and it's really indentifiable and just so bright and fun.
I am one of your Tweeps - - and I can't wait for you to indulge in NUTELLA - - it's like crack, girl - I used to live on that back in college in Oakland...it's sooooo good - - if you have a sweet tooth.....great in crepes....on poundcake....or a Nilla Wafer....or just on a spoon with nothing else: DIVINE!
Have a good day!
