Sunflower Birthday
This sunflower happy birthday card is one of my quick 10-minute cards! I stamped the background of the sunflower in summer sunrise ink, then overlayed it with the detail stamp in black ink. I added the center bud in the black ink as well. Then, I carefully cut out each sunflower using my Martha Stewart precision scissors. I popped them off of a lemon tart and summer sunrise card stock that was layered on a lemon tart strip. On top of the horizontal lemon tart strip, I added summer sunrise ribbon. The 'happy birthday to you' sentiment was also stamped in black ink and applied on summer sunrise card stock. I inked around the edges for dimension. This layout is from Beate's weekend sketch!
I hope you all have a great weekend! I'll be having fun at an all-day crop on Saturday and a SU! party on Sunday!
