End of July - New Cards
My inspiration for designing this card was to use some of the paper from the last post. So, I used both the polka dot and the blue sides and also grabbed a scrap of the red. After I had my card based completed for about two days, I was inspired to use two new stamp sets. The sentiment and the image are two separate sets. One I purchased at A.C. Moore and the other was my freebie from Angela's Happy Stamper. Isn't the monkey cute? This card can be used for any happy reason.
:: My Goodies ::
Stamp: AC Moore; Gel-a-Tin Stamps (monkey/hearts)
Ink: Brown; Red
Paper: Pattern Paper: Li'l Davis Designs "Hootenanny" polka dots; Cardstock: DCWV Cranberry; PTI White: Brown
Accessories: Brads
Technique: Stamped
I could hardly wait to start stamping with this set from Papertrey Ink. Although it is not a new release, I saw the endless possibilities. I made some princess invitations with part of the set last night. I will share later this week. I stamped the cake in VersaMark, then heat embossed with white embossing powder. I cut out and applied the pink stamped flowers. I popped it off of green cardstock and tied a pink ribbon. The sentiment is one stamp, but I repositioned it to make sure the ampersand would fit in the middle.
:: My Goodies ::
Stamp: PTI - Piece of Cake
Ink: VersaMark, Spring Moss, Bubblegum
Paper: Cardstock: PTI White, Spring Moss
Accessories: pink grosgrain ribbon
Technique: Stamped
