Some cards can say enough by themselves, so that's why I left this one blank, so to speak. I did not put a sentiment on the front because I thought it would take away from the card, plus, I did not want to limit it to one use, such as birthday, when it could be used for a notecard, or anniversary, or thank you (you get the point). So, I call this a stand alone card.
Here is how I did it:
- Make card base by cutting cardstock to 4.25" x 11", then score at 5.5"
- Ink negative side of embossing folder with chalk ink (negative side is the side with the cuttlebug logo - just in case you were confused like me at first). Inking the embossing folder will give you another color to your cardstock and make it have more texture.
- Place the card base in the embossing folder and emboss in Cuttlebug.
- Trim strips of green cardstock, then adhere randomly on card base.
- Adhere paper flowers to tops of green strips.
- Add buttons to the insides of flowers.
- Cut leaves from green cardstock, then adhere to stems.
- Scallop edge punch pink cardstock, then adhere to blue cardstock.
- Adhere the blue cardstock with scallop edged pink cardstock to the bottom of the card base.
- Tie green ribbon around the bottom base of the card into a bow.
- Adhere small paper flowers around the knot.
- Add stickles to the centers of the flowers.

Ashley - this is absolutely beautiful. It is definitely a card to stand on it's on. Thank you for providing the information about the negative embossing - I'll have to try that. Have a great afternoon.
