Gift Card Holders

It's Christmas Eve and I wanted to share some quick and easy gift card holders (made by Stampin' Up!). To create these gift card holders, just stamp the design on the top flap, then the sentiment. Next, tie the ribbon around the top flap and into a bow. I also stamped the envelope to match!

You can use this same simple design for any occasion by changing the sentiment to "Happy Birthday" or "Happy Anniversary" or "With Sympathy." Papertrey Ink's polka dot basics are a "must-have" in any stampers collection. I'll confess that I resisted in purchasing this set because I owned the SU! polka dot background stamp and the Art Warehouse Limited Edition journaling stamp set with a smaller polka dot stamp. However, after seeing the design team's creations over time, I knew I had to purchase it. It is like no other. You can easily align the stamps to create your polka dot background pattern without using a stamp-a-ma-jig. I thought I would have to use the alignment system, but PTI makes the stamps so you can overlap the pattern easily as opposed to aligning it up to the last stamped portion. There are all kinds of polka dots in the set from small to large and open and closed.

Have a great Christmas Eve! I'll post some other small box designs tomorrow! Don't forget to enter the holiday blog candy contest by tomorrow night, if you haven't already! Thanks to all of you who have entered. It makes me feel really special this holiday season to receive all these postings. Happy Holidays to each of you and remember the reason for the season.
