Jolly Snowman

So last night, I finished the final 25 holiday cards and don't want to make my own! :( I'm not sure if I am or not, but I need to make up my mind today! We played around with a few photo card ideas by taking various photos. Now I see how being a model could be a hard job! The 'photo shoot' took forever and was exhausting. I may send out only a few and then I'll feel at peace...well a little! That leads me to the quick holiday card that I am posting today. I had to make something fast because it is late. I didn't even STAMP!

I never tie bows because...they're hard for me! I love tying knots because their easier and use less ribbon (conserve where you can). So, for this card I decided to try a bow and it turned out OK I guess. It took be about 2 minutes to get it somewhat straight enough! hee For a simple card like this, I think it needed it more than that simple knot!

The snowman is a sticker embellishment and I added the present sticker embellishment to his arm as well! These sticker embellishments are so fun!

Here is how you can make this card:
  1. Trim cardstock to 11" x 4.25", then score at 5.5".
  2. Trim rectangle to fit the sticker embellishment.
  3. Adhere sticker embellishment to the red rectangle.
  4. Matte the rectangle on white cardstock and trim to fit.
  5. Using dimensionals, adhere the rectangle to the card base.
  6. Tie ribbon around the card base and into a bow. (Cut a small slit on the left side of the card base to tie the ribbon through the card, IF your card is folded on the left side)
  7. Adhere glitter alpha stickers below the ribbon.

What a sweet and simple card! I love it, great job. And why is it that bows are so hard? I usually do the knot thing too!
