Nautical Birthday Card :: January Blog Hop

I almost forgot today was the 25th and I've been saving this birthday card to share with everyone for Papertrey's Blog Hop. This is my very first blog hop, so I am bit excited to see how it all works. This month's blog hop challenge was to share a birthday card. The purpose of a blog hop is to discover other paper craft bloggers and get inspiration of ideas using the same challenge. I hope you all enjoy this card for that special nautical person!

Create this simple masculine card by following these steps:
  1. Make card base by trimming aqua mist cardstock to 4.25" x 5.5" (a pre-scored white A2 card will serve as the card).
  2. Stamp boat on vanilla cardstock and cut out.
  3. Trim square from kraft cardstock.
  4. Stamp sentiment on vanilla cardstock.
  5. Adhere boat to kraft cardstock using dimensionals.
  6. Trim pure poppy cardstock and cut at an angle on one end.
  7. Using the remaining scraps from pure poppy cardstock, trim a flag to adhere to top of sail.
  8. Add hardware to top of kraft square + twine.
  9. Adhere everything to card base.
