Thanks...so much

I really wanted to create something tonight, but couldn't. I think I was just tired. Have you ever gone to create, then just sat there and stared?! Stared at what? All of this STUFF and nothing to create. How on EARTH does that happen? Who knows, but it does! I try not to get frustrated and move on. I still have plenty to share with you because of an influx of creativity I had over the past few days, which is probably why I ran out of juice!

Yesterday, this new Hero Arts apples set was delivered and I opened it immediately to create this simple thank you card. I like to purchase my Hero Arts goodies from Stamping Cafe. Kiara is great! I stocked up on some bling too!

I'm going to disclose a little secret with you all. I messed up...on this card! Can you find it? Well, hopefully you can't see it because I hid it! I tried to hand write "so much" under "Thanks" but it was really crooked and not pretty. So, what do you do? Don't trash it! Cover it up! I quickly opened up my word processing program, typed my sentiment, and selected the font...PRINT! Voila! The card is saved! I still was able to use a handwriting font!

Hope you all like it! TGIF! Have any weekend plans? Please share! My mom's birthday is Monday and I hope to spend some time with her. HI MOMMY!

Have a good weekend and I'll be back later to share more...CARDS!

Here is how you can make this card (without the OMG what did I do reaction):
  1. Grab a PTI A2 pre-scored card base.
  2. Stamp apples on white cardstock, then square punch.
  3. Punch larger squares on green cardstock.
  4. Adhere apples to green cardstock using dimensionals.
  5. Adhere squares to card base.
  6. Stamp "Thanks" sentiment.
  7. Print sentiment on cardstock (using Word + Susie's Hand font).
  8. Trim sentiment and adhere to card base using dimensionals.
::My Goodies {Thanks So Much}::

Ink: SU-kiwi kiss
Cardstocks: Papertrey Ink-white; SU-kiwi kiss

Ashley, the greeting cards are simply beautiful. Didn't notice a thing, at least not on screen. Do you design cards (with a personal touch) for clients? I would like to have something made up for my husband for V-Day;-} - Great Post. Rhonda

Hey there! I'm so glad I found you! (Catherine's Inksomnia). You are quite the talented lady! I love how you salvaged this card. It is wonderful by the way! I also knew I liked you immediately because of your dog, Ozzie, and looking through your blog, the sympathy card you did for the loss of the dog. You are my kind of person! I plan to come back often. Best, Curt
