Hey there! Happy Tuesday to you! I've been dying to make a button frame as a focal point for a card for a while now and decided to try it out last weekend. It took a while to find the right size buttons to fit and also stitch them all to the card front. A quicker project that will have the same impact would be to do it on a smaller focal point, such as a small rectangle with a sentiment stamped in the center or around a circle card front, which is much smaller than an A2 card. Although it was time consuming, it was very soothing to sew these buttons around and in the end I felt like I accomplished this huge achievement! :) I kept the center simple, only stamping a single tree limb and a quote. I hope you like it!
Card Instructions
- Trim kraft cardstock to an A2 card.
- Trim vintage cream cardstock into a rectangle and adhere to card front.
- Stamp tree limb + sentiment.
- Sew buttons.
Cardstocks: Papertrey Ink - kraft + vintage cream
Accessories: Buttons (craft supply + creative imaginations + stampin' up! + papertrey ink); Bazzill-floss
