Friends Make Good Times Great

Hey there! It's the weekend and boy am I glad! Do you have any neat plans? I'm a photography assistant again and this morning we are photographing the Race for the Cure on the National Mall! Really neat, right?!

Last night, I got a chance to make this card for Dawn's color challenge! I really liked the color choice and even postponed my studio move to complete it! Well, maybe I was a bit lazy! We also watched Twilight. I did not think I would like it because I thought it was a tween movie. BUT, I really enjoyed it...okay, loved it! I cannot wait for the sequel! I cannot believe that now I am one of those "Twilight" fans too!

Anyway, about the card...it was really quick and easy to do. I enjoy doodling on my cards now and sometimes freehand, but other times, I use a ruler. I think the frame goes well with the label stamp because it could look like I drew both...NOT (only the frame)!

I hope to move most of my supplies tomorrow evening. Don't forget to check for tweet pics and progress. I already have an idea on how I plan to arrange it.

Thanks so much for stopping by...I truly appreciate your visits, comments, and kind words. I hope you have a great weekend. Make sure you stop back by because I am posting a BLOG CANDY later today to celebrate 50,000 hits!!! I'm giving away one item, but it's an item you cannot buy, but only earn and I have one go give (hint, hint)!

Card Instructions
  1. Trim raspberry fizz cardstock to an A2 card.
  2. Draw frame on card front.
  3. Stamp label on kraft cardstock and cut out.
  4. Stamp sentiment and floral sprays, then adhere to card front.
  5. Add buttons.

Love the card and the lines really made your focal image pop!
One question for you, are there any good scrapbook stores around Richmond, Hampton or Roanoke area(we'll be staying a few days)? My hubby and I are invited to a wedding on the 13th and I plan on shopping some while we are in VA.
You can email me at montdavis6@yahoo.com
Thanks
Kisha :)

LOL, I got sucked into Twilight, too! I hadn't read the books, and wasn't even slightly interested in seeing the movie... Well, one day I found myself at a Redbox and figured hey, it's just $1, all I'll really lose is TIME if I hate it, but I *loved* it! LOL So sad.

Love this card! The frame is an awesome touch!

Have fun today!

Thanks for the congrats. We're doing great. Not improving in the sleep department but it's better awake with somebody than with nobody and a lot of pain :)

Have a great one!!

I'm a fan. Love your work. I almost missed the little bitty teeny tiny dots you added outside the frame on this one. Cute touch.
