Megan + Ronnie

Mondays are such a drag, but I make the most out of them and am grateful for starting a new week and creating more! We returned back from Raleigh yesterday evening and I even had a chance to make a quick card. I'll share it with you tomorrow. I did get a 45 minute quick stop in Archiver's and I was in my 'glory!' They had a lot of neat ideas showcased and seemed to focus on gift ideas for the holidays, which is right up my alley. I lucked up and found some Making Memories loop trim that I've been yearning, so I bought the remaining 10 yards on the roll! I also picked up a lot of Making Memories embellishments because all Making Memories products were 20% off!

I made this special request card for someone who is attending a wedding and wanted to personalize the card especially for them...how sweet! So, she had the idea of stamping their names at the bottom of the card as opposed to "bride & groom" in my cased card here. I also added a pop of red to the flowers as the bride is wearing pops of red.

I hope you enjoy your Monday!

To create this card:
  1. Trim cardstock to 11" x 4.25", then score at 5.5".
  2. Trim black cardstock to about 3.25" x 3".
  3. Emboss names on bottom of card base.
  4. Emboss cake and cut out.
  5. Tie silver ribbon into a knot around black cardstock.
  6. Pop cake off of black cardstock.
  7. Adhere flowers to cake.
  8. Pop black cardstock off of the card base.
