Hi there! I'm back with another Lawn Fawn sneak-a-peek. This stamp set is called "Judy's Blooms" and is full of stamps that will make your heart bloom with glee! Can you believe it? I created a scrapbook layout to share with you all to feature those blooms. The flowers on the "clothesline" is one of the blooms in the set. The set will be available July 8, 2010 at 12:01 am EST. Please hop on over to Lawn Fawn's blog to check out more sneak peeks by the design team.

Inaugural Photos

Being a native of the Washington DC area, inaugurations are a part of living here; however, this inauguration is definitely different. This is the first time I have ever seen the entire area 'lock down' for safety reasons, closing streets and bridges entering into the city. We went out last night, after the crowds to grab a few shots. Now, I'm no photographer, but these two pictures were my favorite. Check out the Washington Monument (known to me as 'the pencil' as a child growing up here). I love the light that was captured. In real life, it was cloudy and COOOOOOOLD, but I guess somehow lights were bouncing off of something else to capture this unique lighting effect.

Will future inaugurations be the same? What's to come? There are so many questions to be answered and wonders of what the future will hold for this nation. I can only hope for the best. This is such a great time in life to experience America and I am glad to have lived to see history be made today! I'll be sharing a special photo card for Presidents Day next month using a picture my husband took of Barack Obama (looking at him - wink wink)!! Stay tuned!
