Be Inspired...24

It's that time of the week again...for Beate's Inspiration Challenge. This week's inspiration is sponsored by Simrin glassware. These glasses are so neato (remember that word?). For this challenge, I was inspired by the frosty glasses, the branches, and of course some of the colors! I decided to design a mini-card this time!

To start, the card base is trimmed to size. Square nestabilities are used to create the window. An additional two square nestabilities are used to die cut the 'frame.' The branches are stamped on vellum paper and heat embossed. Trim around the excess to fit the window and adhere to the reverse side of the window. Add ribbon, sentiment, and flower + button. Voila...a mini window card.

:: My Goodies ::
Stamps: Clearly Wordsworth-Comfort (branches); PTI-Remember (sentiment)
Ink: SU! Chocolate Chip; Versamark
Paper: Cardstocks: Taupe; SU!-Chocolate Chip; Bazzill Navel; Recollections-vellum
Accessories: dimensionals; prima flower; button; hemp twine; satin ribbon
Technique: Stamped; Heat Embossed
Card Size: 3.5 x 3.5

I took this photo using my new Sony Cybershot! It's so crisp, you can almost feel the embossing! Oh yeah...no Wii for me last night...WAY too sore! So, I indulged in Rita's Italian Ice (Raspberry Lemonade + Mango) and some Famous Daves BBQ! Everyone deserves a small reward! Happy Hump Day!!!!
