Fall Thank You

Today's project is a simple fall-themed thank you card. I made a set of five to fulfill a special request for a benefit. For more information, please visit this post. I was inspired to make these quick cards from a pack of felt die-cut leaves I purchased this weekend from...World Market. Yes, I found something to craft with at World Market! I know that is funny, but you never know where you will find goodies. That was not the only purchase I made this weekend. I also got a few new rags and an iphone! So, now you see why I had to make fast cards last night. I was busy getting it all set up and finding new apps! It's an amazing gadget. I cannot just call it a phone, because it can do everything imaginable. I've only had it for a few hours and can't get enough! I will now be connected all of the time. I don't know about you, but the world of the Internet fascinates me and I always want to be connected!

To create this card:
  1. Make card base by cutting cardstock to 4.25" x 11", then score at 5.5"
  2. Cut brown cardstock in squares to fit felt die-cut leaves.
  3. Adhere leaf to brown cardstock.
  4. Matte brown cardstock on olive cardstock.
  5. Place brown ribbon around card base.
  6. Adhere leaf square to the center.
  7. Stamp sentiment under square.
  8. Add white cardstock to inside for greeting.
Have a great Monday and don't forget to vote tomorrow? I already voted, so I'll be waiting to see what happens!
