Last night, I squeezed in about 30 minutes to design this card for the Loonie Stampers Challenge. The colors were to use aqua mist, spring moss, white and silver. My interpretation of the colors was 'elegance,' so I went with my first instinct and selected one of my most elegant stamp sets. I kept it really simple so the elegance will shine.
To create this card:
- Make card base by cutting cardstock to 4.25" x 11", then score at 5.5"
- Punch small squares, then large squares using green and blue cardstocks it's easier to punch first before stamping to make sure your cardstock fits through punch).
- Stamp image on blue cardstock, then sprinkle with silver embossing powder and heat (three times).
- Adhere blue squares to green squares.
- Adhere flowers off of two squares using pop glue dots, then adhere pearls to the flower centers.
- Stamp sentiment on white cardstock, then punch with circle punch.
- Adhere circle to the last square using pop dimensional.
- Wrap ribbon three times around the card base.
- Pop squares off the center of the ribbon on the card base.
