Ribbon Favorites

Hey there! It's the weekend, but better yet I have a great ribbon favorite to share with you all. Nichole asked some of the DT and myself to share our favorite ribbon technique. Well, I was stumped for a few days, but finally decided on sharing how I like to layer my ribbons. Sometimes, I double ribbons and have two bows, while other times I may have a flat ribbon and a ruffled ribbon. Here, I decided to share double ruffled ribbon so you can see how I bunch the ribbon and create a wider ribbon effect. I even made a quick video on my ribbon ruffling technique.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the team's ribbon favorites:

Betsy Veldman

Dawn McVey
Heather Nichols
Michelle Wooderson
Lisa Johnson

Thanks so much for stopping by and watching the video. Have a great weekend!

Instructions
  1. Trim white cardstock and stamp argyle pattern.
  2. Add two layers of ruffled ribbon.
  3. Stamp sentiment; once in berry sorbet ink, then again slightly off in brown ink.
  4. Adhere argyle stamped paper to summer sunrise cardstock.
  5. Add to a dark chocolate A2 card base.
Tips & Tricks

I can not begin to tell you how much I appreciate your technique and video. I can not tie a ribbon to save my life but always want the option of incorporating a ribbon into my project if I could. This is perfect. Thanks for doing the technique video. I also love the double stamped sentiment. Very clever!

I love your ribbon technique! Does the scor tape hold it secure if you mail it? I have not tried the score tape.
